Playing in a foursome with golf buddies Larry Vick, Ray Tucker, & Gene Hemby on October 23, 2017, I hit a 'gap wedge' on the 10th hole at Wedgewood Public Golf Course into the cup for my very 1st ever hole-in-one. At the age of 68, I had resigned myself to the fact I'd possibly never, ever achieve that evasive task. Had I not double bogeyed the 18th hole, it would have been one of my best rounds, but I finished the day with a 2 over par 74. Now the ice has been broken, I now look forward to my NEXT one.
