The four of us (Gino-Jimmy-Rob-TJ)have been playing golf together for over 30yrs. Not one of us has had a hole-in-one and we are all fairly good, 7-9 hndp!! A year ago, our buddy Ken Gino developed a brain tumor and passed quickly leaving us all stunned and sad! We decided to have a fund raiser tournament for his family at our club, Riviera CC in Daytona Beach. It was a huge full turnout with many that had no spot donating to the cause!! Sadly the 3 of us teed it up without our buddy Gino and our friend Razor! We got to the hardest par 3, #6, a 203 yrd uphill terror, and as we walked up the tee box Jimmy said, I'll bet Gino's looking down and smiling at all of this as we all agreed!! Jimmy hit his hybrid, straight at the back flag, hit the front of the green and rolled towards the flag, up to the back level where we couldn't see!! The rest of us placed shots on the lower front and we hoped Jimmy's had stayed on the green!! As we walked up, we only saw 3 balls and Jimmy knew he had gone over the green, so we were walking by the hole and I happened to look down.....lol.....there was his Pro V1 in the cup!! Needless to say, yelling and screaming ensued! When we stopped, looked at each other and looked up at the same time and Jimmy said.."love you brother, thank you". That is a day I will never forget!!!
