Hank Robins Hole in 1
By Hank R On 21 November 2018
I don’t normally play by myself, but November 21, 2018 was an exception. I had just bogeyed 7 and 8 when I stepped on the tee at the daunting hole nine par three at my home course the Country Club of Salisbury. The yardage was 232 yard uphill to a backpin on top of an upslope. I decided that this round wasn’t going too well anyways, so I aimed right at the flag without knowing the yardage and ripped my new GapR 3 iron right at the flag. I hit it as good as I could. The ball hit about 8 feet in front of the hole on top of the ridge and disappeared. I stood on the tee box and called my club pro to come out and be the witness to my first hole in one. I’ll never forget this day and I’m glad I was using a ProV1X!
