After waiting 35 years from making my first hole-in-one, I made my second on the Sherling Course at Robert Trent Jones Cambrian Ridge golf course in Greenville, Alabama. It occurred on hole #2, a 155 yard par 3 on September 15th, 2016. It was great timing as it occurred during a tournament that awarded a set of golf clubs for a hole-in-one. I hit a 5 iron into a strong wind and was playing with a Titleist NXT Tour ball. I gave my son the clubs won and amazingly, he almost made a hole-in-one on same hole the next time we played.
