Go ahead, put the pin there....

We are the first tee time every Sunday morning at our club. It had been pouring rain the night before, so the entire course was soaked. It wasn't possible to cut or roll any greens the evening before. When we arrived at the Par 3 12th hole, it turned out the greenskeeper had nothing better to do but the pin in the worst place possible. Back right edge of the green, all-water carry with more water to the right, a bunker behind and about 20 feet between the back edge and the pin. Playing 122 yards, I hit my Pro V1 with a PW to about 126 yards. The greens were holding beautifully. The ball looked like it was on a zipper as it spun right back to the hole, stuck between the flag and the pin for just a moment, then dropped in the hole. Needless to say, mayhem ensued. What a great day I will always remember...
