Giaquinta Scored Hole-In-One

I am the Communications Director for Sunny croft Country Club n Clarksburg, West Virginia. Recently, one of our long-time member scoffed his first hole-in-one after 44 years of golf. I have attached the article sent to our local papers. Giaquinta scores Hole-in-One On August 12, 2017 Eric Giaquinta accomplished what very few golfers can record on their score card – a Hole-in-One! This feat was accomplished on the # 16, 228-yard hole at his home course, Sunny Croft Country Club in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This picture was taken from the tee where Giaquinta launched his hole-in-one. The green is barely visible in the upper-center. Giaquinta used a TM RocketBallz 4-hybrid, launching the shot very high and straight at the pin. His ball landed four feet short and his Titleist Pro v1 then gently rolled directly into the cup. Giaquinta started playing golf at the age of 8, under the tutelage of his father Frank “Conky’ Giaquinta, former club pro and current member at Sunny. At the age of 4, Conky had his son swinging plastic clubs in the back yard. Giaquinta played his first round of golf at 8 years old. . This was Giaquinta’ s first-ever hole-in-one, despite playing golf for 44 years, being a scratch golfer (0-handicap) early in his career, and today still maintains a 5-handicap. He now will have his name added to the Sunny Croft “Hole-in-One Gang”. The event was witnessed by Sunny Croft members Bobby Gaston (L) and Jay Schwartzmiller. I will upload al the images. The newspaper article had images (witnesses, tee box to green, and Giaquinta) embedded. Regards, Mike Lambiotte Sunny Croft Country Club 304-677-8612
