While participating in a charity golf outing at Western Lakes I experienced my first hole in one. The hole was playing right around 123yds and I had my 9 iron in my hand. I decided to switch to my 8 and take a nice easy swing. Ended up being a great decision. Took a nice smooth swing and it looked great right off of the tee. One bounce and about 5 feet of rolling, and then my DT Solo disappeared. WOW, what a great feeling! Also, there were plenty of witnesses as this one one of the prize holes.
