I was lucky enough, at 68 yrs. old, to have my first hole in one on Oct. 18. Only 4 of our usual group of 12 withstood the cold and rain and am I glad I did! On our #16, playing 185 yds., I just wanted to get my Titleist Velocity ball on the top level of the green, where the pin was located. We all thought that the shot was going to carry off the back and, after not finding it there, my partner looked in the hole. Bingo! What a great day.
