first hole in one

I was with Tom Granata and Josh Spiegel at Stoneridge Golf Course a course we play most weekends. I had been struggling with my pitching wedge and told the guys I would give it one more try. So on hole 16 I told the guys I would like to hit to the left side of the pin. Once the ball was in flight, I noticed the ball was on the line I wanted. It landed in the general area I was aiming. There was some debate on the tee box as to whether the ball rolled behind the pin or went in the hole. Josh was certain the ball rolled 3 feet and went in, however I have been in the position before and have been 6 feet past the hole as the green breaks away from the hole. Once we made it to the green, the other two gentlemen's balls were on noticeable, but mine was not on the green. Josh went right to the hole and smiled which indicated to me I finally made the club. I happen to be with a good group of friends golfing at a great course on a beautiful sunny day!!
