First Hole in One!

Date June 7th, 2018 - We were on our family beach week in Pawley's Island, SC. I bought a couple of boxes of Pro V1's for the trip and was excited about some golf. I played my first round with my father in law and played well, shooting at 91. A few days later, I played with my wife, and a few golf balls were sacrificed to say the least, shooting a 101. I decided that I needed one more round before the weeks end, but my group was content. There was a course a little north that I had read good things about called Prestwick, so I called and got a early tee time. (6/7/18) I showed up ready to shoot a good round, and was paired with a member of the Coastal Carolina golf team. The course was in beautiful shape, but my game was not, once again sacrificing some balls, and even alternating with some lesser priced balls on harder holes. After making the turn, another group of 2 joined up with us, and we were cruising along. We made it to #8, which was our second to last hole, and it was 193 yards. I am not a long hitter, so I tee'd up my 3 wood, and pulled out a Titelist ProV1 #1. There was a bunker in front and the pin was behind it, with the bottom of the flag not visible. I hit a great shot, heading right for it.. I was asking it to carry the bunker.. It did. One bounce, and we all heard flag.. The crowd, said, that hit the pin. I was thinking, did it hold, or kick off.. I wasnt sure.. We drove up and I walked up to the pin with hesitation, and it was in there.. I returned to the cart to get my phone, for pictures, texts, and celebrations.. Still can't believe it. I almost tee-d off with the ball on the last hole (With water all down the left), before realizing I should put that one in my pocket! I finished the round, and bought a plaque and registered it with the Pro! Great day on the golf course!
