First Hole-In-One

Playing a Titleist golf ball for the first time this year. My playing partner and friend Brian Skilton had stepped up to the 8th tee and we looked at the yardage and figured it to be playing about 123 yards. I said show me how its done. He hit a great shot that kicked off the first cut on the left of the green and rolled to the right side of the cup and stopped about 6 feet from the hole. I then stepped up to the tee with my pitching wedge. I said now that I now it is going to roll left to right once it kicks off that first cut so I was hoping to do the same thing. I hit the ball well and it was on almost the same line as Brian had hit his. Kicked off the left cut and rolled right across the green but abruptly stopped when it found the cup. After playing golf for over 40 years this was an great feeling. I hope someday I can get another but the fact I got one is satisfying and I will continue to play golf as much as I can.
