I was invited to play golf with my banker on a Friday morning, at a course I had never played before called Makefield Highlands Golf Club. I was having a pretty lousy round through 13 holes, but started to turn my game around on hole 14. I actually had an Eagle putt on hole 16 (Missed it, but got the birdie!), when I approached the tee on 17. It was approx 140 yards and I hit a fairly low Pitching Wedge, that hit the green, checked up and rolled toward the cup. I wasn't positive it went in, but the three other guys I was playing with all thought it did, so I had to temper my enthusiasm a little as I high fived them, hoping I finally got one! As I drove up to the green, I saw a ball close to the hole, so I still was not 100%. I looked in the hole and there sat my Titleist 1! At that point I could confidently celebrate, sending out texts to all of my golf buddies!
