Playing Mountain Shaddows just off the north side of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix AZ. Hole number 17 is a 173 yard par 3. I pulled my Titleist 716CB 9 iron from the bag, placed the Titleist Pro-V1 on the ground and hit it crisp, but a couple feet left shot. It felt right and when I saw the ball bounce twice an start to roll towards the hole... was it really going to happen? The ball disappeared right into the hole and we all saw it! I dropped my club in excitement and ran around high fiving the others in my group. Even better was that the group in front of me and behind me also saw it happen. After telling the clubhouse about the shot, I went straight to the bar by the pool, interrupted all 20 people, and announced to all my HOLE IN 1! And yes, I bought a round for everyone!
