Well I had quite the interesting start to my round by going par, triple, par, triple, bogey, par. This when I came to the 7th hole and my favorite par 3 at black bear golf course in New Jersey. My irons were a little funky which isn’t usual for me so at 130 yards I was just focusing on making a nice swing at the ball. As soon as I hit my pitching wedge it felt perfect off the face. My playing partner at the peak of the balls flight says, “oh you’re gonna like that one bud.” And I certainly did, as it landed about 3 yards pin high and spun back into the hole. It disappeared and I was in disbelief, I looked back and was like, “Holy s**t my ball just went into the hole, that was a hole in one!” I threw my club to the ground and started parading around the tee box completely astonished at what I just did. I went on to par the next 6 holes and ended the round with an 11 over 83. The two triples and two doubles I had killed my score but the fact I aced one made it all good!
