I had played the front nine and debated whether to make the turn. I decided to. Number 12 at Valley View is a downhill Par 3 204 yards. The toughest pin location is back left, which is where the pin happened to be. I struck a 5 iron down the left side. I figured if is missed the bunker it would be close. It missed the bunker and bounded toward the hole. After the first bounce I said, "Get clo....." just then the ball disappeared. It took a minute to register and then I said "that's a one"... then I yelled "THAT'S A ONE!!!!!" It was everything I had hoped except my son's were not there to experience it with me. Great day!!
