It was Fall 2016 when my 10 year old son and I played in a Father -Son Tournament. It was our first one together. It was his first year playing golf as he has been playing baseball competively and I coach his team. It was also my first tournament and my first year back after a 10 year lay off. So we approached the 15th hole and it was a 142 yard par 3. I grabbed my Titleist AP2 710 nine iron and after my swing said " Well that looks ok" and then one of the other boys in our Father son Threesome ( It was 3 Dads and three boys paired up for the tourney) said " Hey it just went in the hole" I looked up and saw that there was no ball on the green. So upon approach after all had hit I noticed a nice divot 4 feet past the hole and with a nice backspin It was in. My son and I looked in the hole and there she was, my titleist Pro V1 with a blue dot under the number. My son said " Yeah Dad now we will be in the finals" I laughed and said " Well son it takes more than one good shot to win a tournament." We went on the pace 6th and my son carried me for three holes. Good times!
