Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while

Used a Titleist VG3, #33 red
Playing partner: Jim Lowry
Hole # 6 is a Par 4, used the white tees, hit Driver 10.5. Slight down wind, left to right. Hit the most perfect shot, didn't feel it, looked @ the sweet spot and the ball mark was dead center. Showed Jim the mark and he remarked that the sound was so different. I tattooed the ball. Jim & I saw the ball for a second, then we both lost sight of it. Bunkering obscures the sight of the green from the tee & the fairway I knew I hit it well, but we couldn't find the ball anywhere. I was not happy at all! My partner went to his second shot which was long & in the rough. He chipped on, I dropped a provisional ball & hit it on. My partner went & pulled the pin & said,"there's a ball in the cup". I thought he was messing with me & blew it off. He again said" there's really a ball in the cup & it's a Titleist". I said what number? He replied, 33. What color I asked? He replied, " RED". What kind of ball is it? he said, " VG3". We both lost it at that point. I went numb!!! Unbelievable feeling!!! I'll never forget this one..
