Easy Ace?

I was playing in my weekly tournament of the Ridgeview Ranch Seniors on Tuesday, Nov 28, 2017. Our foursome teed off on hole #9 in our shotgun start, on a cold and blustery North Texas day. Club selection was hampered by the increasingly volatile wind gusts throughout the round. By the time we reached our next to last hole, #7-par 3-108 yards, we were a little fatigued from battling the wind. I was on the tee first and chose to knock down my PW rather than hit a high SW into the stiff north wind. The shot was right online to the pin, hit just a little short, bounced once and rolled toward the flag with two or three of us yelling, "hit the pin!, hit the pin!". The ball complied and dropped right into the hole! The dream of my 48 years of playing golf had finally come true; my first hole-in-one. May I be blessed to live to see another!
