I got a hole in one back on July 3rd 1991 when I was a 28 handicap in Watertown S.D. On June 26th at Valleywood golf course in Apple Valley Mn. during league play I got my unexpected encore. Hole #12 plays just 459 yards and I hit a great tee shot to the middle of the fairway 190 yards out. Days earlier I had asked my father inlaw for a 4 hybrid I had given him back. This was just the yardage I was struggling with. I hit it sweet into the green toeards the back of green pin placement. The ball rolled across and in the hole. My ball, a recently logo'ed Titleist ProV1 with "Big D" on it. I guess that would be "D" for double eagle baby!
