I was recently in Colorado for a member guest tournament with my old friend Bill Stoufer at his club, Valley CC in Centennial, CO. On the last day of the tournament we were playing number six, a downhill par three playing at 195 yards. I was using my Titleist H1 hybrid and a Titleist AVX ball I had recently decided to try (I usually play a Titleist ProV1). My tee shot hit the front part of the green, bounced once and rolled into the hole. The best part was because it was slightly downhill we were able to see it all the way in! My first hole in one at age 63! The second best part was that an open bar for the event was included in the entrance fee ( I made sure the bartenders were well taken care of)! I have recently switched to Titleist woods and hybrid with the help of my club pro Joe Finnigan at Shadow Ridge CC in Omaha, NE. I absolutely love them!
