The flag was 205 yards from the tee box. There was a little tail wind so I used my 6 iron thinking this would put me below the pin on the front of the green. I hadn't played very well that day so I told myself just make a good swing and good things will happen. So I just made a good swing and knew it was tracking nicely. I saw it come down on the front but then lost sight of it. Nobody in my group saw it so when I got to the green I was surprised when I couldn't see my ball. I assumed I had rolled through the green and gone off the back side. I grabbed my wedge and putter and started heading for the back of the green when my buddy said to wait while he looked in the hole. Sure enough, there it was.
