I'm belong to El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, CA. My current index is 8.8. We play a regular game every Saturday morning and then usually a two man, 9 hole, alternate shot we call the E-9 ( the E standing for Emergency). In the morning round I was fortunate enough to ace the second hole from 127 yards with a 9 iron. In the E-9, I teed off on the odd holes and my partner took the evens. There are three par 3's on this nine on holes 2, 4 & 7 so my only par 3 to tee off was #7. I made my second ace of the day from 95 yards with a 56 degree SW. Two aces in 5 chances. The look on the bartender's face was priceless when I came back and told him I had to buy another round of drinks. Great day!
