This year while playing in our couples league I've had one great experience after another. The latest is having a hole in one. I'm 65 years old and am hitting the golf ball longer than I've ever hit the ball. Driving par 4 greens, hitting a second shot on a par 5 in for a double eagle from over a 190 yards with a 4 iron into a slight breeze. I'm still in amazement over that. I've been playing in the Missouri golf amateur senior series and have a 9 ghin handicap. Short game and putting have held me back, but shot an 80 and a 75 in last tourneys. Getting better. I have a preference of hitting pro v1x. The feel for me fits my swing and gives me confidence. This is my third hole in one. I've hit the flag stick before but this time is was different. I heard it hit really hard and didn't see where the ball went. My foursome all commented on how loud it sounded. It was an elevated green. The yardage was a 142 yards. I choked down slightly on an 8 iron. When we approached the green I was just hoping that my ball stayed on the green. We looked all around until someone suggested I look in the hole. To my amazement it was in the hole. This year I have been truly blessed. Rick Hite
