It was a great fall day, sunning with not much wind. We were on the 12th hole at a beautiful golf course called Stonebridge in Ann Arbor, MI. I have had little luck in hitting the green on the this hole in previous rounds, water and traps on the right of the green, and a deep slope on the left. The yardage was about 140. I hit a very solid 7 iron, and was really pleased as it approached the green. It landed and then I as I watched, the ball disappeared. I could not believe that it could have gone in, as I though it just went over a slope on the green. My partner found his ball, and then, when we reached the green, I was surprised that my ball was not there. I still could not believe it, so I searched the edge. Then, to my great delight found it in the cup. I have been playing golf since Jr. High school, and this was my first ace!
