I was playing with 3 of my friends from Blowing Rock, NC. We were playing during the winter at Orchard Hills Golf Course, outside of Lenoir, NC. On the 13th hole, a Par 4, I hit a good drive. We could not see it! We looked for my friends balls then looked for mine. The foursome ahead of us "Yelled to us! You are in the hole!" We found my ball in the hole! It was a 306 yard drive over the hill! It was the longest Hole in One for two years in the Carolina Golf Association. What a great day to have your 1st Hole in One in your 70's!
