Call me ACE for a day!

I haven't played the Greendale Golf Course in Alexandria, VA for many years - pretty strange considering I live only a few miles away. And I don't play as often as I'd like too. But today I played a round with two men from work, Calvin Benson and Mark Brown. We decided to walk the course vice riding carts because it was such a beautiful day. I haven't walked a golf course in over 20 years! The weather was great, but the golf wasn't as good was we'd have liked. After walking 15 holes, we were getting rather tired, but kept on plugging along. When we got to the 16th hole - 192 yards, I pulled a 6-Iron out of my bag thinking the pin was up front at 180 yds, but then realized when I was in the tee box that the pin was in the middle of the green which meant the full distance was 192 yds. I told Calvin I was a club short, but was too tired to walked back to the bag and grab my 5 iron. I hit a screamer shot right at the pin. I knew it was a great shot, but not sure how good. As I watched the ball, I saw it hit the green and then lost sight of it. I figured it would be close, but didn't know how close...I thought that maybe it could be a hole in one...but doubted it as I've never come very close before. As we huffed and puffed our way up the cart path, we were all going crazy thinking about whether it could be the big Ace!
