I have a 12 handicap. On 3rd hole which was a par 5 I had 172 yards to pin and hit a great 5 iron to 4 feet to make birdie. On next hole, par 3 distance was 171. I hit same club and hit it great. We heard it slam into the flag but never saw the ball. Thought it could have bounced into the sand trap. After walking up to green and looking in hole we discovered it never hit the green but flew straight into the cup.
