On the hole before my hole in one I managed to find the asphalt cart path with my ball, two lovely high bounces on the asphalt. I never noticed the marks on the ball and proceeded to hit my first hole in one in playing this game for 57 years.
When I took it out of the hole here were two nasty marks that I had not noticed.
Needless the say this ball will find a home but it won't be on a hole in one trophy.
