I was playing in the Western Regional Qualifier for the EWGA (Executive Women's Golf Association) as part of the LA Stars team at the Resort at Red Hawk in Sparks, NV. It was a second day of match play competition, and I'd fallen to 3 down after 6. I won the 7th hole and teed it up on #8 - 118 yard par 3. I took out my trusty 9 iron (with which I'd had my first ace only 5 months ago) and hit a high, straight, shot. It landed beyond the pin and I thought, "ok, pretty good." I bent over to pick up my tee and my playing partners started shouting that the ball went in! I snapped my head up and didn't see a ball anywhere on the green - woohoo! We all went a little crazy. Two of my playing partners had never seen a hole in one before and were nearly as excited as I was. Needless to say, I won this hole as well as the next one to be all square after 9. (We ended up all square after 18 but I credit this hole to turning it around for me!). Yes, my bar bill was huge but it was so worth it. And it wouldn't have been possible without the great spin of the Pro-V1. Thanks, Titleist!!!
