I came to hole 17, after missing a 4 foot downhill curler on 16 where I had to give the hole away. Ugh. Stood on 17, 165 from the back tees, grabbed my seven iron and confidently said to my 2 playing partners, "Just focus on hole boys." Good swing, good contact, ball high in the air, but a touch right of target. Some right to left spin, some wind and some slope of the green helped when the Titleist 2 landed 15 feet short of the jar, and rolled firmly, yet gently into the cup. High fives. Hugs. Beer cart.
