A 150 yards up hill into the wind with an 8 iron. It was the 17th hole at south shore country club and our 17th hole as well in the event. It was a charity scramble that we have been a playing in for a few years and new that we needed to be around 12 under to be in the running. We just birdied 16 to get to -11. I was last to hit to the two tiered green with the pin located On the lower tier. Hit 8 iron into the slope just right of the flag. Unable to see the hole we new it would be close as we saw it come back towards the hole. On the way up to the green we couldn't see it and the excitement began to increase as my partners ran ahead in search for it only to find it in the cup. A celebration commenced with high fives and cheers all around. After snap hooking the next tee shot I was a bailed out by my partners and we made birdie to on 18 o finish at -14 under and won by two!!!!To top it off it was the closest to the pin hole. What day to get the first one!!!
