Adam Slone made his first Hole- In-One on September 6, 2015.
I was fortunate enough to get to post the story of my 5th career ace just a couple of weeks ago and express how grateful I was that my son got to share the joy with me for the first time. Amazingly enough, just 5 short weeks later, he and I and our regular golf partner, Kelly Bagwell, were playing golf at Black Mountain Golf Club when Adam hit a perfect 9 iron on the 13th hole. From 116 yards across a pond, Adam struck the most beautiful baby draw resulting in a shot that pitched 2 feet in front of the hole, took a gentle left break then the Titleist Velocity rolled at a perfect pace into the bottom of the cup. Pandemonium followed! I have experienced great happiness and joy with all of mine but that was nothing compared to the pride and satisfaction that I felt when Adam's ball found its home. We have truly been blessed this summer and our hope is that our regular partner gets his first soon!!! Kelly- its your turn!!!!
