Ace to Win!

This was the last regular season tournament (NCAA Division II UIS Invitational) of my college golf career at Park University. I was in second place going into the second day. I started on the 16th shooting three pars before going back to number 1, where I struggled a bit to shoot 42 before making the turn to number 10. I birdied the par 5 hole 10, before getting to the par 3, 129 yard 11th hole. I pulled out a 7 iron and hit it absolutely perfect. I couldn't quite see the hole because of a mound in front of the green, but it was dead on target. My assistant coach, a coach and my playing competitors were they and we thought it went in. I got up to the hole and sure enough, it was right in there. I couldn't believe it. The funny part was my team was just talking about hole in ones and how when people get them, on the next hole they tend to blow up afterwards due to adrenaline. I wasn't going to have that be me. I ended up getting a birdie on the next hole and getting pars for the next 3 holes to finish the back 9 with a score of 4 under score of 32, the nine hole school record, and my 74 was enough to win the tournament!
