Ace on the Final Day of Bachelor Trip
By Daniel W On 2 October 2017
It was the 4th and final round of the Bachelor Party for our buddy James. We played amazing courses in PHX area. Kierland, TPC Scottsdale, WeKaPo Saguro and finished at Troon North Pinnacle. I found myself in the final group, 8 strokes out of first but anything could happen right. Unofrtunately, my ball striking was not acceptable for cut day let alone the final round so my morale was down. We got to the 16th hole at Troon North Pinnacle and our buddies waved us up. 130 yard slight down hill with a back stop and front pin location. Plus handicap Tim smoked it over the green, so I decided to club down and smoke my 52° wedge. I angry swung it and hit a high baby draw right at the stick. It landed about 10 feet above the hole and started to roll back down towarss the hole. I turned around thinking of have a kick in birdie, but then everybody started getting loud. So I turned around and saw the last few rolls then the ball hit the pin and disappeared. We went crazy. It was a slow slow round. So the group ahead of our buddies were on the tee and saw it and group behind us rolled up tonour celebrating as well. And of course the cart ladies were there as well. So that made it more memorable (and expensive) as well. Nevertheless, a great memory for my first hole-in-one celebrating one of our closest friends!
