After playing this crazy game for over 35 years and never having a hole in one, I got one on the number 2 hole, par 3 at Hidden Valley CC in Utah on the Lakes Course. This hole, while not long is not easy. The tee shot is over water the whole way. I took my Titleist AP2 8 iron and hit my Titleist Pro V1X 1 ball right at the pin. It took one hop and then went right in the hole. It was awesome to see it actually go in. At the 19th hole, it cost me $200 in drinks but well worth it.
