I am a member at Pinehurst CC and Resort in North Carolina. Within the membership is a group called the Tin Whistles which is purportedly the oldest golf society in the U.S. While we play most of our matches at home, every 4-5 weeks we go away to another CC in the state. On July 24 we went to MacGregor Downs outside of Cary, NC for a two best ball team event. On the 4th hole I hit a Pro V1 with a 9 iron straight at the flag. It landed on the green, hopped once, and rolled into the hole. As the tee was elevated we all were able to see it go in. Alas, the team did not win the event, but we have a lasting memory of someone yelling "go in" and it did.
