I had taken my boys to the US Kids World Championships this year in Pinehurst and we decided to play the Cradle after my sons practice round. We stepped up to hole #3, a 55 yard uphill par 3. You could not see the bottom of the flag because of the uphill slope and a big trap guarded the front of the green. My boys had already hit the green and I took a half swing sand-wedge, my shot was all over the flag and I heard the ball hit the flag stick. As most of you know, most shots that hit the flag end up a good distance from the hole. My boys ran up to discover the ball was in the hole!! This moment was PRICELESS not only because we were a Pinehurst but my boys witnessed my ACE!!
