Grew up in Northfield and never played ACC. Two weeks ago long time friends from work played. Course was fantastic. On the first par 3 I hit the flagstaff and commented I think that was the first time I had ever done that on a par 3. Knocked the put in for birdie. At the last par 3 (#17) knocked a 6 iron (Titlist DCIs) ProV1 ball 155 yards uphill into the wind and hit the lower part of that flagstaff! Couldn't see it go in but a foursome on other fairway went nuts! Obviously bought them a round afterwords. It was my first ace & lowest round of golf ever. Image is of the group I played with.
