Ace at 63 Years Old

Playing in a Match play tournament at Green River Golf Course, Corona, California, we were at the tee box of hole number 4, par 3 playing 195 yards. There was a breeze in our face. The first player came up short so I decided to use my 3 wood, hoping to get through the wind. I hit my ball straight. The ball landed on the green and began tracking to the pin. Then we lost sight of it, thinking it was behind the pin or off the back of the green. We drove to the green and I grabbed my putter thinking I would be needing it. When we approached the green we did not see my golf ball, anywhere. Then the thought of being in the hole starts to sink in, literally! I got closer to the hole, looked in and there was my ball at the bottom of the cup. I let out a loud yell "I finally did it". Been golfing for over 25 years, never really been close to a hole in one, but now I am a member of this prestigious club. Priceless!!
