My club has a Tuesday night men's nine hole league. The front nine is typically easier than the back so most people play the front as much as possible. But our rules require at least 25% of the rounds to be on the back. So yesterday, I decided to get one of my back nines out of the way. Man did I stink up the joint. We decided to play the full 18 and went to the front nine. I proceeded to stink for eight more holes. Prior to my last swing of the night, my playing partner made a suggestion to alter my set up a bit. I nailed the shot but it appeared to land about 15' to the left of the hole. Happily it hit on a ridge that fed right into the hole for my third career ace. Of course, with my league nine already finished I did not qualify for a rather valuable skin...I'll see if the set up change pays off over time.
