ACC 500

In the final round of ACC 500 at Abilene Country Club over Memorial Day weekend my dad and i were trailing the leaders by two shots when we got to the par 3 4th. With a front pin the whole was playing 144 yds. I elected to hit PW as anything long would have been a difficult downhill two putt or a very hard up and down. I was playing a Titleist PRO V1X #1. My shot started on line just right of the flag with a little draw. The ball landed a yard or two past the flag and backed up into the hole for my first hole in one. The ace gave us great momentum and we ended up winning our flight by a few shots after shooting -7. It was a great experience and to be able to share it with my dad made it that much more special.
