A Scramble hole in one
By Jeffrey C On 16 October 2018
We were playing a scramble tournament at Easton Country Club. the last hole of the round was hole #4. it was a par 3 playing at 143 yds. The Ball that was used was a Titleist Pro V1x with the #4 on it. I was the last of the foursome to hit for the day and hit a 9 Iron. The ball went straight over the pin and we all thought it was gone off the back. Strangely enough, the ranger was following us and we asked if he saw the shot. We didn't hear a response from him and as we drove up to the green, the ranger had gotten out of his cart and walked up on the green. When he looked in the cup, he raised his arms similar to a field goal and yelled "It's in". He later mentioned that he had heard something hit the stick but didn't realize it had gone in on the fly.
