After 23 years of learning patience on our golf course links, I finally heard the celestial music for the first time on a short, over-the-water, 110 yard par 3 located on the first course Raymond Floyd helped design - the Captain's Club at Woodfield in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Most thankfully, I was surrounded by three of my long time golfing friends who helped to make this a most enjoyable moment in my life.
