#5

It was my older brother David who got me interested in golf some 20 years ago. We grew up playing baseball and football together and my number was always number 5. A little over four years ago, he passed away from cancer at exactly 5:55 in the morning. He was cremated, and the following year, I spread some of his ashes up PCH in the dark at 5:55 in the morning. As the sun came up, I went to return to my car and drive back home, but as I returned to my car, I saw a lifeguard stand that I didn't notice before. On the lifeguard stand was a big number 5. I knew he was still in my life. So, it's only fitting that my first hole in one came on a par 3 at Weddington and it was on hole #5.
