6 AM Tee Time

Teed off at 6 AM to play before work for the local Wednesday league. On the back nine, I was playing my average golf while enjoying the crisp morning air and bird calls. We made it to the 13th hole which is a two-tiered green surrounded by three bunkers. That day, there was a front pin about three paces in front of the tier. The distance to the hole was 157 yards so, with the cool morning air, I clubbed up and hit a smooth 7 iron with a baby draw. My Pro V1 landed 3-4 feet past the hole, bit hard, and spun back off of the hill slowly into the cup. It looked like something one could see on TV, ever so slowly trickling into the back of the jar. I went on to shoot even par that round, and took first place for the event. It was undoubtedly the best shot I have hit.
