Every time I visit the 16th hole at Oak Springs in St. Anne Illinois, I think of it and last Thursday it happened again. I hit a pitching wedge on this occasion. The ball bounced about 6 feet in front of the hole rolled forward and disappeared. The funny thing is that I played golf in Amana, Iowa at Amana Colonies the week before while visiting friends. I found the titleist pro v1 ball and it had "Alex Tyler Ryan's" name on it. Since it was a pro v 1 ball I kept playing it on my home course. Never thought I'd be saving a ball in my trophy case with another name on the ball besides my own. I think after this, I'll get my name on my golf balls for now on...
