I started golfing 35 years ago when I was 12. I went to visit a friend in AZ and played McDowell Mountain. It was a cool morning 1/14/16 we were paired up with another 2 some. One was a local and we were told he could help us. On the 3rd hole we lasered the hole at 184 yards, I was going to hit a 6 iron when I heard one of them say "this hole always plays a little long." I went back for a 5 iron since it was a front flag and there was a bit of a back stop. It was a nice high draw right at the pin. When I could not find my ball on the green I thought I went long. There was a pitch mark 5 feet in front of the pin and I checked the hole. It was there and that was my first Hole in One. What a great day. I went on to shoot 1 over.
