Par 3 16th Hole at Maple Meadows in Wood Dale Illinois. 185 yards to a back left pin location with flag visible but cup not visible from the tee. Wind left to right hurting. Started the shot on a perfect line for the left edge of the green and the wind moved it a couple feet back towards the hole. When the ball hit Bob said that's going to be the closest to the pin today but we could not see where the ball came to rest as the hole was 10" below the high point of the green. I told Bob when we get up to the green I hope there are no balls on the green as my shot was the only one with a chance of being on in regulation. As we drove up I exited the cart and walked behind the green on the line of my shot looking for my ball over the green. I found nothing and said that is a good sign. Rob then hit on the green and landed just beyond a fresh ball mark and his ball started heading towards the hole stopping a couple feet short. I said to myself that has got to be my ball mark. I went to the hole and it was at the bottom of the jar. What a great feeling.
