While playing a round in October, I had my oldest son with me "on the bag". Let me get into that peice a little later. We were on the 15th hole of Pawtucket Country Club and the guy in front of me hit a 7 iron to the back of the green. I am about a club stronger than him, so I was going to have my son head back to the bag and grab my 9 iron so I would have a better shot at hitting the front of the green as the pin was tucked a bit behind the front bunker. My son said, just use your 8 iron and take 2 clubs lengths back from the tee markers. So I listened to him and lofted the shot and it landed just over the trap, even where we could see it and then took one hop and rolled into the hole.

I don't think I have ever seen my son so excited. He said "Dad you put it right in the hole". The other gentleman in the group said "no, its sitting behind the hole." My son quickly responded back in a nice way and said you better get an eye appointment soon, you need some glasses, its in the hole."

Now to the part of defining "on the bag" for a 11 year old. Definition - Dad walks and Patrick drives the cart.
