I was invited out to join a friend for an afternoon round at Horizon Hills, in Johor Baru Malaysia. Having lipped our on the first, then leaving a second birdie putt on the lip, we arrived at the 3rd hole par 3, finding the 4ball infront on the tee, they waved us through. After taking a distance reading, 167 yards, wind hurting slightly off the right. I took a 9 iron(titleist AP2) Starting it left edge of the bunker front right of the green, it felt pure off the face, it came in beautifully! Pitched front right edge, and released downs the bank in the green, always dead online with the pin, and in she fell. My insurance wouldn’t cover it, as I was only in a 2ball! And even tho we had 2 caddies and the 4ball infront on the tee with their 4 caddies. The rules are the rules, but nothing’s taking the fact I’ve joined the club.
